Paint Protection Film · Marble Falls, TX
Paint protection film — STEK Certified
Self-healing film that protects your investment, not just your paint. Gravel lake roads, loose chip seal and long highway pulls into the Hill Country are hard on paint. As a STEK Certified installer, we apply film that shrugs off rock chips, swirl marks and bug etching — and heals light scratches on its own with a little heat.
What the film protects
What film takes for you
Rock chips from highway and caliche roads, road debris, bug acids, light surface damage and wash-induced marring, and UV exposure. On Hill Country roads the chip risk is real — RR 1431 and the ranch roads throw a lot of gravel.
Where to put it
Most owners start with the high-impact front end: bumper, partial or full hood, fenders and mirrors. Full-vehicle coverage is available. We will walk the car with you and recommend coverage based on how and where you actually drive.
Film and coating together
Film and ceramic coating are not competing products. Film handles physical impact; coating handles chemical and UV attack and makes everything easier to clean. A coating applied over film gives you both.
New cars, EVs and trucks
The best time for film is right after delivery, before the first chip. We protect everything from daily drivers and work trucks to Teslas, Rivians, Cybertrucks, Porsches and Corvettes — each kit is cut to the exact vehicle, so edges wrap cleanly and the film disappears on the paint.

Film reduces the risk of chips and light damage. It is not scratch-proof, and a heavy impact can still mark a panel.

See the difference film makes
Move your cursor across the panel. The same light reads as a tight, bright reflection on the filmed side and a dull, scattered pool on the bare side — that is gloss.

Why gloss changes
A filmed, coated surface reflects light coherently — you get a small, sharp, bright highlight. Bare, weathered clear coat scatters it, so the same light spreads into a dull haze with no defined core.
It is the clearest way to see what protection is actually doing to a finish, and it is what people notice from twenty feet away without knowing why.
Common questions
Answers before you call
How much does paint protection film cost?
Rock Guard (partial front) runs $799.99–$1,199.99, Full Shield (full front) $1,799.99–$2,799.99 and Total Coverage (full vehicle) $4,999.99–$7,499.99. The exact figure depends on the vehicle's size and body style and is confirmed at your quote. Text photos to 512-755-1842 for a fast one.
How long does PPF last?
STEK film is rated for 5–10 years depending on the film and how it is cared for — well beyond a ceramic coating's typical 2–5 years.
What does "self-healing" mean?
Light scratches and swirl marks disappear on their own with heat — sun exposure or warm water — as the film's top layer reflows.
Is PPF worth it?
If you drive Hill Country roads regularly, a front-end film package usually costs less than repainting a stone-chipped bumper and hood later — and it keeps the factory paint, which matters for resale. For a garaged weekend car it is more about peace of mind.
PPF or ceramic coating — which should I get?
They solve different problems. PPF is physical protection against chips and debris. Ceramic coating is chemical and UV protection plus gloss and easier washing. Many owners do film on the front end and coating over the whole vehicle.
Will the film yellow or peel?
Quality modern film is designed to resist yellowing, and manufacturer warranty terms vary by product. We will confirm the specific film and its warranty during your quote.
Can film be removed later?
Yes, professionally installed film is designed to be removable without damaging factory paint underneath.
Do you do boats and RVs too?
Yes — the Marine Leading-Edge package covers the bow and hull leading edges. Ask about custom coverage for RVs and aircraft.
